After graduating from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001, I began working in Los Angeles California. I worked spec photography jobs photographing artists who were recording music videos. I loved the way that no one posed for the photographs, they pretty much ignored me altogether and I found that I liked being invisible. Upon deciding to move out of the city and relocate to Ocracoke, North Carolina, my photography shifted to new subject matter. As a photographer, I have been in love with the process, visualizing, and developing of an image, for the greater part of my life. The way that a camera can literally record passing time or an event, is somewhat of an obsession for me. The best photographs that I have taken, in my opinion, are all candid. They are unplanned and “unposed.” Individuals I have photographed, also enjoy my technique or belief in a pure candid photograph. I have many photographs both framed and unframed available for sale.
